USO Rock Island supports SHARP Walk/Run
USO Rock Island staff and volunteers provided bottled water, fruit and snacks to military participating in the annual Military SHARP (sexual harassment and assault response program) walk/run at Memorial Field on Rock Island Arsenal. The walk/run supported an Army-wide program called SHARP that aims at fighting back against sexual assault and harassment. The event saw 240 soldiers along with accompanying dependents and civilians take a stand against sexual harassment and assault within the military.
