USO Volunteer Passing
USO O’Hare mourns outstanding volunteer, Regina Minarcik. Regina could be found at USO O’Hare Terminal 2 Center every Tuesday for over a decade. Every week, she would bring in pizza for the military members to enjoy. Even while she couldn’t volunteer due to health issues, she ensured that USO O’Hare had pizza every week while she was gone.
Before becoming a USO volunteer, Regina was an O’Hare International Airport employee and had a wealth of knowledge that she shared with service members passing through the Center. Staff and other volunteers described Regina as “always in a good mood and creating a joyful atmosphere with her humor and infectious smile.” USO will not be the same without Regina. We want to thank the Minarcik family for sharing her with us for so many years.
