Elk Lodge of Joliet Makes Service Members' Day with Donations to USO Midway
USO Illinois relies on the support of our dedicated volunteers and supporters to create a “Home Away from Home” for our service members and their families. Every month, Penny Burns, of Elks Lodge of Joliet, IL #296, makes a trip to Sam’s Club to buy over $300 worth of food, snacks and drinks to donate to USO Midway. Penny, a longstanding member of the Elks, helps USO and other organizations across the United States with donations of needed items. The Elks Lodge of Joliet’s contributions to USO Midway helps to support traveling service men and women, their dependents and sailors graduating from Boot Camp at Naval Station Great Lakes.
USO Illinois salutes Penny Burns and Elks Lodge #296 for their continued generosity and support.
