Military Spouses Make Glass Ornaments and Life Long Bonds

Twenty-seven military spouses gathered at the Mad Potters in Bettendorf, IA, for a special Military Spouse Night. Military Spouse Night provides fun, interactive social events that are opportunities for military spouses to connect, establish supportive networks and build lifelong friendships. In partnership with Army Community Service and sponsored by IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union (IHMVCU), military spouses learned to make glass-infused holiday ornaments. The spouses learned to cut, tack and contour layers of colored glass to base ornaments to create stunning winter scenes. All participants left with a unique addition to their home holiday decor.
Thank you to IHMVCU for your continued support of our USO Rock Island programs.
